Techniques

Jodi works with molten glass

directly from the furnace with

the addition of colour, pulling it

into glass canes or blowing it

into fine bubbles which are then

crushed into fragments of

confetti. She is able to be

versatile in her choice of colour

and its depth and intensity in

relation to the glass.

She then uses the principal

techniques and processes of

kiln-formed glass -

cutting, layering, fusing,

slumping and sand blasting -

producing a diversity of

products from large vessels to

intricate jewellery.
